Equipped with a polythene sleeve that allows on-site weather protection, these ARC Cavity Stop Socks ensure that the spread of smoke and flames within external masonry walls is limited. The effect of flanking noise pollution at wall junctions can also be minimised.
The sleeve can be cut away from the low resin, non-combustible rockfibre mineral wool insulation without hindering performance. The product itself can also be effectively compression fitted within a masonry cavity while the brick and block work proceeds. There is no need for any mechanical fixing.
