Please note:

• Three hinges are recommended for additional rigidity and strength.
• All hardwood external doors should be protected from direct sun and rain.
• Trimming must include equal reduction from both sides. Each side of a door may be trimmed up to a maximum of 6mm (lipping of 10mm or more) or 3mm (6mm lipping). Trimming over the 6mm overall for the fire doors invalidates the FD30 rating.
• Before hanging, seal unfinished product surfaces including tops, bottoms and all recesses cut for hinges, locks, handles and letter plates etc. Waxes and oils must not be used for sealing a door. Guarantees will be void should the door subsequently fail because of this.
